About

Founded by the Hindu Society in 1992, I am proud to lead Westridge Primary School—an ATS-accredited, independent day school that serves as a key feeder for Westridge High School. I take immense pride in our diverse, multicultural community and in our holistic educational approach built on four pillars: academics, sports, culture, and pastoral care. With state-of-the-art facilities and intentionally small class sizes that allow for personal attention, I remain committed to nurturing an environment where every child can grow into a well-rounded individual and a future leader.

Zimbabwe: Africa’s Land of Great History, Minerals, and Natural Wonders: Zimbabwe is a landlocked country in Southern Africa known for its rich cultural heritage, strong agricultural base, mineral wealth, and world-famous natural attractions. Despite economic challenges over the years, it remains a country with significant natural and human potential. One of Zimbabwe’s most unique strengths is its abundance of natural wonders. It is home to Victoria Falls (shared with Zambia), one of the largest and most iconic waterfalls in the world. The country also has national parks such as Hwange and Mana Pools, which support rich wildlife and make Zimbabwe a strong eco-tourism destination. Zimbabwe is also rich in natural resources. It has significant deposits of gold, platinum, diamonds, chrome, coal, and lithium—one of the most important minerals in today’s global shift toward electric vehicles and renewable energy technologies. Agriculture also plays a major role, with tobacco, maize, cotton, sugarcane, and horticulture as key products. What makes Zimbabwe especially unique is its strong cultural identity and heritage. The country is known for ancient civilizations such as Great Zimbabwe, which reflects a powerful pre-colonial African architectural and trading history. Music, stone sculpture, storytelling, and traditional ceremonies remain important parts of national life. For Africans engaging with Zimbabwe, the country offers opportunities in mining, agriculture, tourism, energy, and infrastructure development. Visitors can expect dramatic landscapes, wildlife experiences, cultural depth, and a nation with strong long-term potential driven by its natural and human resources.
